Bank Architecture

A bank on 8th Ave & 14th St in NYC has a cool clock with a bronze beehive (and bronze bees) on it. Bowery Savings Bank, that RGBisMe & I saw near Grand Central Station last year, had things like squirrels and other critters that cache things away.

I love the old external designs on buildings and pondering their symbolism gives my great pleasure. Finding little gems like that in any town or city are the best treasures. I can shoot a bunch of digital photos and it keeps my mind working by doing research when I have the time. RGBisMe and I both love the book, Forgotten New York and have visted some of the cool places mentioned in it.
