Glenn's Memorial Bench

RGBisMe & I went to the dedication of DaBraLady's father, Glenn's, memorial bench. The family decided this bench will have a prominent location on the land they own in Poe Valley.

The bench and day of it's dedication were just lovely. The thing I thought was most beautiful was how the shine on the black granite of the bench allowed it to reflect back the splendor of the sky and the mountains and Glenn's cabin.

Family and friends gathered to share a meal and memories. His presence was clearly felt as his heart hand touched many and the work he put into his cabin and land is evident. We will miss him but have only to look around to know he is not far from us. Poe Valley is a slice of heaven itself.
