This week I came home to a surprise on the back porch. RGBisMe gave me an early Mother's Day gift of two full sized rose bushes. I have had miniature ones in the past and have done about average for keeping them alive. They are hybrid tea roses called Dream Come True and I am excited to see how they do in our yard.Roses of that color have always reminded my of my grandmothers. The scent reminds my of lotions and bath salts my maternal grandmother gave me and the color reminds me of roses my paternal grandmother and her daughter always had.
